My Life Testimony — Part 23-B

"My Prayer While Waiting in God's Presence"

1. God Examines the Heart.

God may speak to us through anyone and observe how we respond. He sees whether I assume that only what I say is correct, or whether I humble myself, examine the Scriptures, and accept what agrees with them.

There are examples related to this in the Bible.

2. Not Blaming God.

I have tried to learn how not to blame God because of my circumstances.

I wanted to refrain from speaking against Him in my suffering.

3. My Prayer.

“Lord! Grant me the grace to endure this situation.”

As I pray this way, I continue in His presence, going through each circumstance by God's grace.

4. Spiritual Comfort.

The spiritual comfort I have experienced in my life:

“The circumstances of your life are not unknown to Me. I know the struggles you have faced for many years. You are continuing forward, learning how to conduct yourself in every situation so that you may grow into the likeness of Christ that you have desired. You have not abandoned Me, and you are waiting for the promise I gave you.”

These impressions have given me courage in my life of prayer.
