May 1, 2024 — Memorial Gathering for My Mother

After my mother passed away on April 22, 2024, we also held a memorial gathering for her on May 1, 2024, in a meaningful and dignified manner.

Pastor Moses, Pastor Prashanth, and Pastor Wilson from House of Prayer came and prayerfully conducted the gathering.

On that occasion, I also remember with gratitude the help my elder brother gave and the love he had for our mother.

My elder brother loves me very much. For certain reasons, we have not been meeting.

After My Mother Passed Away — Her Question Confronted Me

After my mother passed away, a major change came into my life. The mother I had cared for over many years was no longer with me. Her pension also stopped.

I remembered the words she used to ask out of concern for me:

“What will happen to you after I am gone?”

Now my life itself had to answer the question my mother had asked.

I had to continue carrying family responsibilities with my wife, find employment, meet our household needs, and become financially stable. But circumstances did not change as I had hoped.

My responsibilities did not end with my mother's passing. New responsibilities began under new circumstances.

Still, I remembered one thing — the words my mother and I used to say to encourage one another:

“God alone is our refuge.”

Now the time had come to live out those words together with my wife.

June–September 2024 — Employment in Bahrain, Followed by Another Gap

June 22 to September 25, 2024

I worked on the LTB-300 project in Bahrain.

Even after my mother passed away, my employment remained unstable. I worked on the LTB-300 project in Bahrain from June 22 to September 25, 2024. After that, another gap in employment followed.

October 2, 2024 — Our First Trip to Ooty

After my mother passed away and I returned from Bahrain, God gave me the opportunity to take my wife to Ooty.

Before our marriage, I had told her we would go to Goa. But because of our responsibility to care for my mother, for many years I could not take my wife on such a trip.

Our visit to Ooty after my mother's passing was our first special trip together. Even now, it remains our first joy of that kind.

Because of my prolonged financial difficulties and the course of my life, we have not had another such opportunity.

Even so, the trip to Ooty remains a special memory in my life.

The time I spent with my wife, who had patiently endured so much for many years, was precious to me.

November 2024–February 2025 — Offshore Employment in Basra

November 16, 2024 to February 8, 2025

I worked as an SAR Radio Officer at Basra Oil Terminal in Iraq.

I worked as an SAR Radio Officer at Basra Oil Terminal in Iraq from November 16, 2024 to February 8, 2025. After that, another long period without work followed.

November 2025–February 2026 — Employment in Qatar, Then Waiting Again

November 11, 2025 to February 12, 2026

I carried out Radio/Admin duties on the MAG MAINTAINER I project in Qatar.

I carried out Radio/Admin duties on the MAG MAINTAINER I project in Qatar from November 11, 2025 to February 12, 2026. After that, I once again waited for another job opportunity till now October 30th 2026.
